Legal Notice Offerings

Experienced Consultants

Consult with JND before you file to combat issues that could arise down the road, often resulting in delayed approvals and costly revisions. JND’s experts will review the proposed case documents, as well as all applicable federal and state laws to ensure that the notification process is designed and implemented to fulfill all due process requirements in a cost-efficient manner. We will listen to your concerns and develop a strategy to best meet your specific needs.

Class List Creation & Member Inquiry Services

JND Class Action Administration can work with data from a variety of sources. We transcribe class member information from physical documents and utilize a variety of research tools to identify the most accurate and up-to-date address information for class members.

To help class members make informed decisions about participation, we create a toll-free number for each project that can connect to our staff instead of a menu of pre-recorded messages. We also produce and maintain a website tailored to your case’s needs—from an information-only site with downloadable forms to one accepting online claim submissions.

Expert Opinion & Testimony

JND’s team of experts are qualified based on the standards set forth in Daubert and Kumho. When creating and analyzing a notice program, they utilize reliable research tools and methodologies which are well known in the advertising industry, thereby allowing them to stand by their work with confidence. Our experts provide clearly written expert declarations and affidavits and will testify in Court, as needed.

Our standards for creating Notice Programs are consistent with Federal Judicial Center’s (FJC) Judges’ Class Action Notice and Claims Process Checklist and Plain Language Guide, as well as the applicable District or State Court guidelines.

Innovative Notice Plans

JND’s proposed notice program may include mail and email notice, when applicable, print, radio, television, outdoor, digital, and social media, as well as a third-party outreach effort, the distribution of a press release and/or public service announcements (PSAs), among other things. Our proposed media mix will depend upon our in-depth analysis of the specific case situation and class member demographic and media usage.

Our media planning team has access to the most reputable advertising industry research tools to ensure that the best media is selected and that our reach calculations can withstand the most critical review and challenge. Our experienced buyers negotiate the lowest media pricing, getting you more for the dollar. They will see your plan through from start to finish, ensuring that every element is implemented exactly as planned.

Engaging Plain Language Notices

In addition to ensuring that class members have an opportunity to see a notice, our team will ensure that class members understand what they see. We will produce engaging notices written in plain, simple language to cut through the clutter of today’s media landscape. Our design and production capabilities include:

  • long form
  • postcard
  • email
  • print
  • radio
  • television
  • out-of-home
  • digital
  • video
  • press release notices

Our Legal Notice Experts

JND’s team of legal notice experts utilizes reputable advertising industry research tools and methodologies to design tailor-made notice programs with engaging notices written in plain language. Our results-driven approach (i.e., the right audience, receiving the right message, in the right environment, at the right time), produces certainty of notice adequacy and assures courts that class members are provided their due process rights, which in turn limits objections and reduces the likelihood of collateral attack.
